Learning Tree Preschool offers full-time childcare services (6:30 AM - 5:30 PM) for 1 - 2 year olds.

We also offer a 5-day a week school-day program (6:30 AM - 3:30 PM) and an early day program (6:30 AM - 2:00  PM) program when openings are available for our children.

Because we believe children learn most effectively through play, Learning Tree makes sure to offer opportunities for educational play all throughout the day. We know children “learn by doing”; therefore, there are plenty of opportunities to do so.

Although daily activities will vary somewhat from time to time, each classroom does follow a planned schedule. Each day’s activities include group time, learning centers, outdoor play, healthy snack and meal times, and rest times.

Learning Tree combines teacher-led and child-directed learning experiences. During group time, each teacher introduces quality works of literature to the children. The teacher then uses Abeka curriculum to present other learning activities such as recognizing and writing letters, forming numbers and counting objects, and learning colors and basic shapes.

The students learn through self-directed, student-led play. They enjoy centers within the room such as the reading corner and the math and science manipulatives section. They also learn home skills in the kitchen area and develop hand-eye-coordination and thinking skills through puzzles and table games. Children especially like using their imagination and learning construction skills with the selection of building blocks. Of course, art and music supplies are available for every day enjoyment for each child.

The outdoor playground provides the opportunity for children to exercise, play, and learn. The equipment includes foot-powered cars for motor skills. Balls, parachutes, jump ropes, etc. are available for active play. Children also enjoy playhouses, as well as outdoor chalk centers for creative play and development of hand-eye coordination skills.

Learning Tree offers a healthy breakfast snack, lunch, mid-afternoon snack, and late-afternoon snack each day at our childcare center. We serve the meals around the table family-style. The center follows the state department of health’s guidelines in preparing the menu, and the menu is available for parents to view at all times. It is the parent’s responsibility to make Learning Tree aware of any allergies that will affect the meals a child can eat.

During afternoon rest period, the children nap or quietly read a book or play with a puzzle.

Learning Tree offers arts and crafts daily, as well as an organized music program. These are FUN, creative classes that the children will love!!!

At no additional charge, Learning Tree provides Color-Me-Healthy Nutrition Classes along with Fitness Fun, our in-house exercise program for preschoolers. We greatly enjoy our monthly visits from Freedom Ranch...we love their wildlife animals!
